ACTING UP DRAMA TEAM

Purpose: To give students the opportunity to serve their peers through the use of dramatic arts.
Opportunities: This team will focus on preparing and performing skits for the Youth Worship Night services.
Rehearsal Time: Wednesdays 6p.m.-6:30p.m.

THE MASTER’S HANDS (Puppet Team)

Purpose: To give students the opportunity to serve their peers and the church body through the use of puppets.
Opportunities: This team has a broad ministry, performing in a variety of areas such as Children’s Church, Sunday School, Youth Services, Youth Worship Night services, etc.
Rehearsal Time: Sundays 5:00-5:45pm

PRAISE BAND

Purpose: To give musical students the opportunity to use their gifts as a service to their peers and the church body through the use of musical instruments.
Opportunities: Primarily for Carpenters Shop. Also may play for Sunday Services, Youth Services, and special meetings, etc.
Rehearsal Time: Wednesdays 5:00p.m.-6:00p.m.

TMT (Teen Ministry Team)

Purpose: To train students to use their gifts in ministry specifically in children’s ministries. The training and internship prepares students for the summer missions trip.
Opportunities: A short term missions trip, teaching children, and an internship using gifts and talents in ministry.

General Expectations for Every Ministry Team

  1. Committed to consistent regular attendance to the student ministry team rehearsals, training, and performances. (Contact team leader when absence is necessary. The team leader will check out unreported absences).
  2. Committed to being a team player by respecting the team leader and other members, working well with others, and accomplishing individual responsibilities.

Additional Expectations for Leadership Teams

TMT (Teen Ministry Team)

  1. Committed to Central Baptist Church membership (Salvation and Baptism) in good standing, demonstrating regular attendance.
  2. Completed training including classes, homework, and presentation.
  3. Completed 4 week approved internship (usually in Sunday School or AWANA)
